Vijayam Foundation is named after our founder’s mother — a lifelong learner who pursued her master’s degree later in life and believed curiosity has no age limit. That spirit is why we exist: because staying connected, learning something new, and feeling capable shouldn’t disappear with age.
In 2025, Canadians lost at least $704 million to fraud — reported cases only. Seniors are one of the most targeted groups in Canada, and most scams are never reported.
Senior fraud losses grew from $89.3 million in 2021 to $179.9 million in 2024 — about a 100% increase in 3 years.

From safe online banking and scam awareness to video calls, email, smartphone use, and privacy management, we make essential digital skills accessible and approachable. We also introduce carefully selected AI tools that support everyday tasks such as writing, organizing memories, and finding trustworthy information.
